After completing all videos, return to the Training page and access the "Safety & Health Online Training" button to submit your affirmation of completion.
To obtain a FEMA Student Identification (SID) number for the first time or to retrieve your old ID: https://cdp.dhs.gov/femasid
Once a FEMA student ID has been obtained, register for a National Disaster and Emergency Management University (NDEMU) account at https://training.fema.gov/ and complete the below required self-study courses:
IS0100.c: An Introduction to the Incident Command System (ICS 100)
IS0200.c: Basic Incident Command System for Initial Response (ICS 200)
IS0700.b: An Introduction to the National Incident Management System

“Basic Incident Command System for Initial Response” (ICS 200)
CPR/AED & First Aid certification is required to complete basic firefighter training. Provide the Training Officer a copy of your active certification or notify them if you need a new course.
Review the contents of this manual and request a physical copy from the Training Officer.
